After the outbreak of chicken flu was confirmed in Haripad in Alappuzha district of Kerala, the Union Well being Ministry has determined to ship a excessive degree crew to take inventory of the Avian Influenza outbreak within the state.

The seven-member central crew consists of consultants from Nationwide Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Ailments, New Delhi, Nationwide Heart for Illness Management, New Delhi, Nationwide Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Delhi.

The ministry stated that the crew may also help the state well being division by way of public well being measures, administration pointers and protocols for managing the rising circumstances of Avian Influenza being reported by the state.
