Delhi witnessed its first fog of the season; Minimum temperature settles at 20 degrees

The day is forecast to be partly cloudy.

New Delhi:

A thick blanket of fog enveloped Delhi on Wednesday morning, decreasing visibility to 350 meters in some elements of the capital.

India Meteorological Division (IMD) senior scientist RK Jenamani stated that that is the primary fog of the season within the capital.

Delhi’s minimal temperature was recorded at 20.2 levels Celsius, a notch under regular. The utmost temperature is prone to be round 31 diploma Celsius.

The day is forecast to be partly cloudy.

An IMD official had earlier stated that there was heavy haze as a result of extended rains, which elevated the moisture content material within the air.

In response to the official, the visibility at Delhi’s major climate station Safdarjung observatory had dropped to 600 meters at 8.30 am and 350 meters at Palam climate station.

It improved to 2,100 meters at Palam at 9 am and at Safdarjung by 10 am.

The air high quality index of the capital stood at 66 at 9 am, which falls within the ‘passable’ class.
