New Delhi: GMR Infrastructure on Friday mentioned the title of the corporate has been modified to GMR Airport Infrastructure Restricted, following the demerger of the non-airport enterprise.
“The change in title is efficient from September 15, 2022, topic to the approval of the shareholders of the corporate and needed regulatory approvals,” the corporate mentioned in a launch.
The corporate had demerged its non-airport companies – EPC and concrete infrastructure – into GMR Energy and City Infra Ltd.
“With a view to mirror the above attribute of being an airport holding firm post-dissolution, it was deemed acceptable to mirror the airport enterprise within the title of the corporate as effectively,” the discharge mentioned.
At the moment, GMR Airports operates airports in Delhi, Hyderabad and Cebu within the Philippines. It has additionally obtained the rights to develop and function Kuala Namu Worldwide Airport in Medan, Indonesia.
