Heavy rains lashed components of Delhi this afternoon, bringing respite to the residents of the town, who had been battling poor monsoon. In Delhi, it rained in lots of areas together with ITO, Shahdara and India Gate.

The India Meteorological Division (IMD) has forecast gentle to average rain in and round Delhi.
