India gears as much as rejoice 76th Independence Day; PM Modi will tackle the nation for the ninth time from the Pink Fort

India is all set to rejoice its 76th Independence Day on fifteenth August. The day commemorates India’s independence from colonial rule after two centuries of repression and repression by the hands of the British.

The celebration of Independence Day honors the sacrifice and tireless efforts of our brave leaders and freedom fighters who laid down their whole lives for the nation and the countrymen.

On today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will first unfurl the ‘Tiranga’ on the iconic Pink Fort in New Delhi.

Persevering with the custom, he’ll tackle the nation from the ramparts of the Pink Fort. Notably, this would be the Prime Minister’s ninth Independence Day tackle to the nation from the Pink Fort. On reaching the Pink Fort, the Prime Minister can be obtained by Protection Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Protection Ajay Bhatt and Protection Secretary Dr. Ajay Kumar. The Protection Secretary, Common Officer Commanding (GOC), Delhi Area, Lt Gen Vijay Kumar Mishra will introduce the AVSM to the Prime Minister. The GOC Delhi Zone will then take PM Narendra Modi to the salute base the place a joint Inter-Companies and Delhi Police Guard will current a normal salute to the Prime Minister.

The Guard of Honor contingent for the Prime Minister will consist of 1 officer and 20 males every from the Military, Navy, Air Pressure and Delhi Police.
